How to Achieve a Flawless Lash Application

How to Achieve a Flawless Lash Application

If you've ever struggled with getting those lashes on point, you're not alone. We've all been there – glue mishaps and wonky angles. But don’t worry we’ve got your back. We’ll walk you through the steps of achieving a flawless lash application.

Step 1: Preparation

To ensure a flawless finish, preparation is essential

Cleanse and Curl: Start with a clean slate. Gently cleanse your lashes to remove any oils or makeup residue. Then, give them a little lift with an eyelash curler – a quick trick for making your eyes appear more awake.

Mascara Magic: A light coat of mascara on your natural lashes can act as a base for your falsies.

Step 2: Trim

This is an essential stage in your preparation before applying your lashes to ensure the perfect fitting lashes for flawless results! Here’s how you do it.

  1. Remove your lashes from the tray carefully, starting from the outer corners.
  2. Using a Strip Lash Applicator, hold the lashes up along your lash line to work out the amount you'll need to trim off.
  3. Using a pair of Beauty Scissors, carefully trim your lashes to the correct size to fit your lash line, cutting from the outer corner.

Step 3: Apply the Glue

Squeeze a thin line of lash adhesive along the lash band. Pro tip: Wait a good 30 seconds to let it get tacky. This makes for easier application and an instant hold.

Step 4: Placement Perfection

Using tweezers or a lash applicator, gently place the lash as close to your natural lash line as possible. Start from the outer corner and work your way in. Press them down gently to secure.

Step 5: Secure and Set

Once you're happy with the placement, press the false lash strip down gently. Use the back of your tweezers or your fingertips to ensure it's adhered from corner to corner.

Step 6: Finishing Flourish

You're almost there! Now, let's tie it all together.

  • Blend Away: Use a clean mascara wand or the clamp end of our lash applicator to blend your natural lashes with the falsies. This step is like the icing on the cake – it creates a seamless transition between your real and fake lashes.
  • Apply the finishing touches: Finish off your makeup look, whether that’s a final dusting of highlighter or a statement lip, and you’re good to go!

Remember, practice makes perfect. Don't be discouraged if your first attempt isn't red carpet ready. With a little patience, you'll be a lash pro in no time!
